Out of Scottsdale, Golden Thread Vintage deals in vintage clothing, a world where the customer can spot a fake from across the room and a brand that tries too hard gets ignored. Clean corporate polish would have made it look like a chain store. It needed grit, and the grit had to feel earned.

So I drew a flying pig. When pigs fly: the spirit of chasing the impossible, with a hand drawn, dripping edge that looks pulled off a worn tee rather than out of a template. Heavy condensed type holds it steady and a loose Vintage script gives it movement. Gold, hot pink, warm tan, black and white, bold enough for a wall and clean enough for a social avatar.

THE RESULT: a full family of lockups, from the complete mascot mark down to a GTV monogram, so the brand holds the same on a hang tag, a storefront and a phone screen.
